View Full Version : Affiliate Advertiser Requests

Just a thread for you guys to chime in on.

If you use a particular shop, storefront, or other .com establishment to procure your wares, and would like to see them as an affiliate advertiser here, the Family might as well benefit in a small way. Just list them out and I will see if they have a qualifying affiliate program that could be beneficial to the site and the Family.

Thanks for any input, and please continue the list.

Home Depot... Dane's car could be diamond encrusted just based on my Home Depot shopping alone... Of course, I don't do much online... Mostly in-store.

Is there a way to get affiliation through in store purchase?

Adorama.com for my photo stuff, dunno how many people would need photography stuff though?

Only way to do that would be to order for local pickup for stores that offer it.

Not sure. Maybe Mark would know.

There is only one way to get credit for the site. You would have to do the transaction online -- and then do in-store pickup. So you would use the affiliate link. Do the transaction online. Pickup order in store.

pelicanparts.com? I found some really reasonably priced items (+free shipping too!) from them but didn't pull the trigger due to no affiliate link. Wasn't there a "your favorite website" thread for BMW parts??? Probably should hit that for affiliates. I tried searching for it but couldn't find it. If anyone finds it, let me know!

Oh, couldn't find turnermotorsport, khoalty, or ecstuning... They are not affiliates? I'm searching here: http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?229-List-of-Affiliate-Advertisers-at-ZHP-Mafia

Yes I see it there (thank you) but when I go to the big list at http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?229-List-of-Affiliate-Advertisers-at-ZHP-Mafia I don't see it, and the 4th one down there is FCP Euro, not AutoHaus AZ. I wish ECSTuning's shipping rates weren't so crazy.
Almost all the other sites offer free shipping after you spend a certain amount. Nope not ECSTuning, the more you buy the more the shipping increases.

E_Rak
07-29-2013, 09:29 PM
That being said, if you buy a big load of stuff, the shipping isn't too bad. It's the worst when you need a plastic clip and they ask for $6 shipping for 2 grams of $0.96 plastic -_-

I have purchased from them with success. Typically their products are NOT top of the line and their customer service is less than adequate. Just my experience from reading here and from several purchases through them.

Have to be honest here, I've had success with them, and they are friends with boss-emeritus, but I've heard too many bad stories to be able to recommend them. Of course, this is second hand, but it's many more that I would have expected to see and do see from the other parts suppliers.

Hence why they are no longer an affiliate of ZHPMafia.com.

Hey all,

I noticed that tirerack.com is back on the affiliate list, and tirebuyer.com's banner is gone but the text link is still there. I bought fronts yesterday through the tirebuyer link and just wanted to confirm whether you guys are still getting compensation when I order through them.

...I suppose I'm also letting you know that the affiliate page is broken in one way or another: either that the tirebuyer banner isn't showing up anymore, or that the text link is still showing up when it shouldn't be...

danewilson77
08-01-2013, 09:01 AM

Placed an $80 order with AutoHaus AZ using the affiliate link, 10 quarts of Total 9000 5w-40 oil plus a can of the Lubro Molly MoS2 additive. I was so annoyed at not being able to use the Mafia affiliate link from work that I quit and joined another company! Just kidding. I made the purchase from home before heading to work today. But I think my new company does allow me to use that affiliate link from inside the corporate firewall.

Dane, I placed another order with AutoHaus AZ using the affiliate link. Initial screen showed referral info in the URL, but after doing some shopping it looked like that info disappeared from the URL. If I start with that link, then select items, then log in to my existing AutoHausAZ account, does it remember the referral came from the Mafia and give us credit?
