Does anyone have any recommendations for food and drink in or around Burbank? I tend to gravitate towards casual places and will most likely be dining alone. I'm traveling for work and will be there for 9 days. First time to California actually but I don't expect to have much free time... Thanks in advance.

BJ's Brewhouse, nom nom nom.

Never been to California? Have you ever had In and Out Burger or Jack in the Box? If not might as well try them while you are there. I love Jack in the box.

You gotta check out Bob's Big Boy on Friday night. It's the original and still a popular hangout for custom cars.

If you get a chance, about 30 minutes from Burbank is one of the best taco stands of all time:

Tito's Tacos
11222 Washington Place
Culver City, CA 90230

Don't know a lot about Burbank, but the usual LA stuff is all available if you have car, as Burbank is not too far from things. As far as Jack in the Box, it's not what it used to be, so I wouldn't make a special trip for that. Tito's is definitely a good place, and in you're in that area, Venice Beach is near, etc.

Pardon my ignorance. Are we talking about the usual Jack in the Box ? (burger, fries, etc).

Thanks guys. I don't believe I'll have a car so not sure if I'll venture too far; depends on time and cab fare. We do have Jack in the Box here but I've never been to the legendary In 'n Out.... I don't eat beef but maybe I'll try the fries :)

Their fries are fresh cut but I don't think they are that big a deal to make a special trip.
