I'd be blue in the face holding my breath on that one... Was just messing around... Even the money it did cost, a great app and worth that price. Free is awesome, unless they start loading it up with ads...

I can say this, being that I/we have the paid version (for those of us that do) we better NOT start getting ads in our apps! THAT will irritate me...

Yup, it works fine, but it's likely due to all future improvements going to TT 4/HD, but free is still a good thing and it's still useful.

From all I can tell, it looks like the original Tapatalk is the one that is free. As long as the current version we pay for isnt, I'm perfectly fine with that :)

This specific forum did not used to allow members to post. It was simply for announcements. We changed that a few weeks ago, but there were still a few permissions that needed to be tweaked so that everyone can post.

Different interface. Design is a little sexier. I don't think it's any faster though. Research what the upgrade did?

Tapatalk 2 is the one I am referring to and what I am using right now. It is much more reliable than the first one was on my device. You can try the free one first and see if it is good enough for you. If not, I fully believe 2 is worth the cost.

Its really a much nicer interface. I like it a lot on both my iPhone and my iPad. Even has a built in photo editor. IMHO, its worth the money, but there's nothing functionally wrong with the free one
