....getting these as my next set of rims. I would keep the set I have now, as a winter setup.

What do you guys think? I think they would look great with the ambers....not sure though if its a lil too much though....

When it comes to wheels, I am a huge snob, Dane. I don't like replicas.

Having said that, if you're going to imitate any wheel, then the LM is the one to do it with. It looks good.

Fake wheels are like fake tits to me.

I don't really give a crap as long as they look good on the body.

I like fake boobs. But then I am not worried about them being on my car -- just in them.

I don't like em. But I'm ridiculously picky when it comes to wheels... /hides

What is there to be picky about, they are exact replica's of an LM. Unless you just don't like LM's.. Eeeeeeps.

I see.....so....Marcus calls them boobs, and Casey calls them tits.....mmmm....very intersting......

So most of the concern is regarding the quality of the build?

Like these much more. Something about the gold center and black hardware looks ghetto to me.
Just my opinion and taste. He asked, I gave.

Here are some pictures of my LMs (on my 335). You can't dislike them. Not possible. Haha.

If we could get a wheel sponsor on the site, they might be willing to extend sponsorship level discounts to a few of us.

I like gold/bronze wheels but for some reason only on blue or silver cars. Not sure why. I like the wheels you have and I also like the BMW performance mesh wheels.

My friend has an alpine white E30 with BBS RS in gold. Looks good. He may be painting the car imola red and the gold rims will look even better on that.

I like the gold on red very much, especially with ambers. One thing I wonder is whether you'd tire of it quickly. While I love to search for pics with red/gold combos, I'm not sure I could live with it day to day.

Not bad. I like LM Reps more personally. If you want gold, DTM Euro Spec has them at a really good price.

Oz makes a tight lookin wheel. I may hold off a bit....to see if I can get some BBS action...

justinwilson77
11-29-2010, 07:39 AM
Imho, I think the OZ's might be a nice alternative. maybe mix it up a little bit ya know? Either those or BBS just not the gold reps. remember pops, what comes after gold rims is ground effects neon and a huge rear wing. Lol :p

Marcus-SanDiego
11-29-2010, 07:42 AM
I thought Dane already had the ground effects neon. No? Dane, this is your next mod!

justinwilson77
11-29-2010, 07:50 AM
he's trying to get a wing for the rear abour 2 ft high and 4 ft wide..told me its a toss up between that and purple neon.

Marcus-SanDiego
11-29-2010, 07:54 AM
He's a mod junkie.

The wing will get him 5 extra HP. However, the purple neon will yield an additional 10 HP. Therefore, neon all the way.

Yeah....that's the ninja smiley. Kiinda like the kiss of death around here...

buy my ssr's dane
see link on sig

Marcus-SanDiego

Dane, I second Ernie's suggestion. Those SSRs would do well on your car. Lower unsprung weight, baby. FTW.

Bimmerlifestyle
12-20-2010, 07:02 PM

Why choose? Do both. Might as well add a VTEC sticker for good measure.

As far as the SSR goes, I think your current Enkei's look better, IMO.

danewilson77
12-21-2010, 04:27 AM
Yeah....I think you're right. I also almost rub in the rear right now with ET +42 and 8" rims. His 9.5" ET+27 would kick it out another 1.5"'s....so fender pull would be a must. Not gonna happen.

Or, a spacer delete, or get smaller spacers...
I remember you have spacers. Correct?

danewilson77
12-21-2010, 08:27 AM
The above measurements are with no spacers.....

I think I would have to roll and tuck....

az3579
12-21-2010, 09:18 AM
I don't think it's worth it, in all honesty.
Perhaps if it was a wheel that you are absolutely set on. Are you hooked on the SSRs?

Jon D

I like the M6 reps. My only thought is to watch the weight. That's why I refinshed cause anything that really lowered the weight was real $$.

Marcus-SanDiego
12-21-2010, 06:03 PM
M6 reps beg for bbk. Otherwise, I'd go a different direction.

danewilson77
12-21-2010, 07:51 PM
M6 reps weigh 1lb less than the Enkei's. 23lbs vice 24lbs...

I'm thinking F14's instead. Personally not a fan of the way the spokes are designed. Always thought it looked too "anemic" and not badass enough.

danewilson77
12-21-2010, 08:16 PM
Ok...the F14's are nice and meaty. I like em better.....the price is pretty amazing on those ///M6's though. I guess for a reason.
