99649965108179963Picked up a new toy this afternoon. I was not a fan of the F30 body style when I first saw it, but the release of the M-sport package changed that immediately!

Not a ZHP, but it is alpine white!

2013 335i xdrive

Pardon my ignorance, but what caused you to lock the thread DW?

Accidental. No reason.

I like the wheels.

I do as well. The change would only be due to the fact that 19's and NJ roads don't mix well....

I really like the front end and the interior shot. The base model front facia doesn't do it for me, but this is like the e46m and zhp combined. It looks like it is up to no good.

Thanks. Totally agreed. My wife and I were looking at both cars together, and it is really interesting how similar the designs are after 10 years. The e90 was a bit more similar in terms of size to the e46, but the M-sport f30 looks remarkably similar to the ZHP.

I would love to do a photo shoot. Those were just crappy iPhone 4s shots. I haven't had a chance to shoot the car with my DSLR. Although I'm below amateur grade when it comes to photography.

Any Central NJ photographers want to come teach me a few things and shoot both cars?

Good looking car. Nicely optioned. Maybe need to add the multi-colored checkered flag to the hood as on the E36 M3 LTW. Sure, if want some photo pointers - I'm in Central NJ as well. PM me.

The only way I like to roll! I've strayed a few times and regretted it immediately.

One thing Im very surprised is the M sport bearing wood trim on the inside that isnt a dark black. Looks great btw. I love to get myself an Msport 335i..

illirep

The wood or aluminum is optional across all trim lines. I'm likely going with the oem performance carbon fiber / alcantara anyway, so I'm indifferent. But I agree it is weird this car was ordered without the aluminum trim.

I was under the impression that you custom ordered it. Oops, my bad...
Lot pickup? Surprising they had a 6-speed M-Sport on the lot; here all you can get are 328 X-Drive's with an automatic. The Northeast is so pathetic in a sense of them not stocking anything unique and only stock the most commonly ordered cars, which to most enthusiasts are quite boring (no Sport Package, even). So, if this was a lot purchase, sweeeeeeet sniping!

Had 3M Scotchguard paint protection film applied this weekend to the front bumper, headlights, mirrors, hood, fenders and rear bumper top. Now I can drive the car with less anxiety about stones destroying my brand spanking new M-sport bumper.

I was going to order a 2014, as I was assuming there would not be any manual M-sports available this late in the model year. Surprisingly, there were several 2013's available. It was between the one I chose and another Alpine White / Coral Red / Almuminum trim. The coral red interior was tempting, but thought I'd get sick of it after a few months. If it was not so bright, perhaps I'd think otherwise. The new Lexus IS F-sport has a much nicer tone of red as an option - almost a burgundy or maroon type of color. Coral is simply too loud in my opinion.

The new IS is an absolutely gorgeous car. It is one of the most unique designs I've seen on a car. There was an IS F at the meet the other day, the new style. If I were female and had panties, I would have dropped them.

Thing is, if it came down to choosing between a F30 M-Sport with all the M Performance goodies added and the IS, I'd have the F30 instead.
