I am looking to buy your broken electronics off of you. I know how to work on some of them and enjoy figuring out the rest, figured there is no better way to learn than to buy already broken electronics!

I am very good with iPods and iPhones, and I'm good with other brands. If you have something you think I'd be interested in buying, PM me.

I have a slamming HP (dv9xxx or something like that) I need to get rid of.....

Built 2 years ago (if that).....>2Ghz processor, 4 gig RAM, Lightscribe, all kinds of stuff. Screen went out and Geeksquad told me it would be $400.00 to repair. Aint gonna do it. I just bought an ASUS instead.

It may just be the ribbon cable....but its a sweet computer....

I also have keyboards, mice, a monitor....and some other stuff. I can fill your basket.

Make me an offer.

Would you be interested in buying a Motorola Droid A855 that actually works but has a broken glass? Touch still works, you can see the screen, only thing is that the front is cracked. You could probably sell it once fixed if you want...

I would list it on Craigslist but I personally couldn't be bothered with the fact that 9/10 calls/emails are scams.

Dude, are you kidding me? I could have that up and running for you for the cost of an LCD, which is actually around $120-150 + shipping.
I don't mean to kind of hijack this thread, just want to give you an idea of how dumb the Geeksquad is. They charge far too much for what they really are (a bunch of barely certified junior techs that are really underpaid - and as a result don't really care that much).

I actually get pissed when I go to Best Buy and see people in their line. Makes me want to head up to each one of them and give them each my business card.
I would, but otherwise I'd get kicked out and probably banned. :shifty

What do you mean, DW? The original poster is no longer doing this?

What I mean...is he contacted me about a month ago (maybe more) and I haven't heard anything back. I probably phrased it incorrectly. I think he just must be incredibly busy...

There wasn't a manufacturer warranty?

If you give me the serial number, I can look up to see if it's still under warranty.
