Awesome. What kit did you go with?

Just the OEM rotors and pads. I don't do any aggressive driving so no need for slotted, drilled, etc.

Car feels awesome! All I need now is the suspension components done and she will be as tight as a 19 year old figure skater.

Congrats.

I have never had to do a panic stop in the ZHP yet but I would assume we have pretty good stock brakes. It's a BMW after all.

Ray is the real deal, I've bought 5-6 sets from him, have always done S&D rotors with ceramic pads, better on street performance than stock with a little bling to boot. And all for less than the price of OEM from the dealer, FTW.

Yes, Ray is awesome. He responded to all my questions like a pro and set me up with top notch stuff (drilled). Price was awesome including sensors and blue stuff. Nothing wrong with these brakes and I put ~ 20k miles on them. Two thumbs up, I know where to get my next set.

Running his brakes on my car as well. Cross drilled and slotted with ceramics I've been very happy with their performance.

Ray is good people. Can't wait for my current brakes to wear out so I can go with EBC RedStuff and drilled rotors from Ray. Unfortunately, Ray doesn't have EBC pads, but I'll still get the rotors (and possibly SS lines) from him.

They are pretty good, but they could be better. I've had to panic stop (well, slow down really fast, not stop) on my ZHP, and it responded well. Saved me from wrecking my car.

I've had my posi quiet pads and drilled and slotted rotors on for about 1000 miles and love them. Performance is great, even in torrential storms and standing water they bite immediately. They look awesome too, no rusting after rain or washing. Thanks for the great deal and great shipping and great product Ray!

Yes believe so. I think I may have to go smaller spacers in the front with the M3 control arms already there. Too aggressive in the front compared to the back.

Just wanted to give Ray another shout out. The brake pads he sold me helped save a life tonight. I was on the way home and cruising around 35mph down a back road that cuts between a shopping center and a neighborhood. As I was driving, out of a the corner of my eye, I saw a mother walking with her kids and wouldn't ya know it they're all dressed in warm dark colors.

Well I started slowing down to about 30mph and just as I get ready to pass them one of the kids, who looked to be about 8, decides it's a great time to bust across the road instead of continuing to the cross walk. The flaw in his plan is that I'm about 20ft away and closing. Well he gets about half way across and decides to turn back meanwhile I'm already braking, thank you Grandad for all those track days, and his mom is too surprised to move. As I brake I'm mentally getting ready swerve and correct when the car just stops... No drama, no fuss, no squealing or whining. Just stopped, with about 5 feet to spare.

I originally picked up the Posi-Quiet Semi's because I just needed a decent DD brake pad to get me by till SCCA season this spring and then I'd be upgrading. They've been awesome DD pads and will stand up reasonably to the spirited drive every once and a while. But for DD back to work and home brakes they're great. If you're out driving these brakes on public roads you need to take a good look at your driving habits. The weather tonight is about 35 degrees not including the windchill and I hadn't used the brakes in about ten minutes when this happened so I'd consider it a cold stop.

So long story short, a kid didn't get hit and I'm home safely so it's a good night. With proper use of the brake pedal, read NOT an on/off switch, these brakes provide ample stopping power for daily use and panic stops. These are not "street ready" brakes. They aren't track brakes. But they're bloody good daily brakes and they'll out brake anything your local "expert" store will push off on you. Most budget friendly brakes for DD tend to be on the slow side of braking. You hit the pedal and they'll decide when they want to brake. These have yet to have any issues with daily use and don't break your bank to boot.

Once again Ray ROCKS, his customer service is outstanding, and his merchandise is tops. Thanks Ray. :thumbsup

I'm glad to hear that your brakes have done a great job. I've driven with posi quiet, but I prefer Stoptech pads. For me there was definitely noticeable initial bite over posi. Living in Socal it's almost a must using performance pads with all the idiot driving around :shifty

Thanks for the compliments :D

I'll be upgrading to the Stoptechs in a a bit :). The Posi Qs have made a decent DD pad around here and the low dusting is awesome. Can't wait to throw a set of hard biting brakes on the car. And I totally get the idiot driving. I try to stay out of El Paso for a reason lol.
