Hey guys, I know they aren't making them any more, but I am hunting for a set of 19" ZHP replica wheels. I know it's a longshot, but if anyone knows where I could find a set, please let me know! Thanks, Brad

Hmm. I thought the style 135s were 18". Did they make 19s"?

That's why he's wanting replicas. I don't think I've seen 19" ZHP reps though.

Hey guys johnrando is correct. They DO exist, but are no longer in production and are getting harder and harder to find. They look just like the oem staggered 18" style 135m ZHP wheels except they are 19". Actually, someone on this forum had a set listed long, long ago! It's a long shot, but someone somewhere has a set.

We didn't say that... :dunno

Must be pretty rare, though. I bet they look wicked cool.

The felgen katalog doesn't show them in 19. I tend to believe this site as it has all of the rare OEM BMW wheels listed on it in the various sizes I didn't even know existed.
Personally, I do not think they exist in 19's as 18 is the only size I've ever seen them in. I frequently browse German BMW classifieds (don't ask me why lol) and you tend to see the rare stuff there, but have never seen 19's.

Could you please link to said 19's? Replicas or OEM?

Not sure what that means. My comment was not in reference to what anyone said. It was just to add info to the OPs question.

Hey guys, as I said, long ago, there was a guy on the forum that posted a want to buy ad for the same wheels I am searching for. For what ever reason, my computer won't let me copy and paste the link, but here was the title of his post: For Sale or WTB19" BMW 330 ZHP Replica Wheels / Style 135's : I hope he doesn't mind, but his name on the forum was/is: rallyegolf. I will try to see if I can pull up the post by copying and pasting his post title and see if it comes up.

Well guys, I pulled the trigger on that 19" ZHP style 135m set of replicas I mentioned earlier. I sent the money tonight, and hope to get them by Wednesday the 19th. As I said, they have quite a bit of rash, but are straight and true with no bends or cracks. I might take some before restoration and after restoration shots........ I will post them after they're done. Can't wait to get 'em!

What size tires would fit these on our cars?

I have a set of tires from my ISF wheels, but they are our stock size +1 inch.

Interesting.

These are 19x8 and 19x9, I believe the offsets are around 47 front and 45 rear. Although I have heard they pretty high offsets, I am going to run some spacers to bring them out a bit. I am going to run some Michelin A/S Pilot Sport Plus tires that I have that are almost new. 235/35/19"s and either 245/35/19 or 255/30/19's on the rear.

Well guys, the wheels came in on Thursday and man were they rough! I immediately took them to my buddies shop for reconditioning. THEY LOOK HUGE! I can't wait to get them back and on my car! (Sorry for the huge pics! I don't know how to resize them!)
I will post pics when I get them back from being restored! CAN'T WAIT!

My brother is a trucker and is in Houston pretty often. I would pack them up in his rig and have him take it to you. If you guys could somehow meet up, that would solve the shipping, or at least halve the cost if you shipped it back.

Thanks for the kind words guys! I am a bit embarrased on the amount I spent, but they were in pretty bad shape. I paid $125.00 per wheel. That included checking for bends, chemical stripping, removing all flaws, painting them oem BMW silver, and powdercoating them with clear coat. It wasn't cheap, but I am VERY pleased with the results. I have a nice set of Hankook V12's, 235/35/19 and 245/35/19's that have almost 100% tread on a set of 19" iForged "Flux" wheels. But I have a brand new, non staggered set of Michelin A/S Pilot Sport Plus tires 235/35/19 that I was going to run on my non staggered SSR GT2-H wheels. I also have a nice set of Hankooks that I am running on the 19" staggered BBS RS-GT's that I am running now, but they are 225/35/19 and 245/35/19 due to clearance issues. (Hi, my name is Brad. I am a self admitted wheel whore! LOL!) I am going out of state for a little over a week. I hope to mount these bad boys ASAP!

Wrap tape around the ridges. Won't be visible, and it'll tighten up the fitment.

Yeah, the oem caps are just a little too big for the wheels. If I am correct, the oem caps are 70mm. I just ordered a set of the 68mm ones. Unfortunately I won't receive them until I get back from my little vacation to Rome. ( Georgia, that is! ) Ha Ha! I wish it was the original Rome I was going to!

Thanks John! We are visiting family on my wifes side. I am hoping the new caps I ordered fit. If I felt I could shave or grind down my oem set I would, but I don't think I could without destroying them.

Hey guys, whats up..... I haven't logged on in a while. My dad has Parkinsons disease and I have been helping my mom take care of him. I finally mounted the wheels on my car, but unfortunately the fronts are a bit too aggressive and rub pretty bad. They are 235/35/19's and the rears are 255's. I really like the way they look, but I will have to find a set of smaller front tires. What do you think?

danewilson77
04-27-2014, 05:06 PM
Are they rubbing on the shock/coil or the fender?

bradacal

Yeah, my rears are rolled from when I was running a more aggressive set, but I looked in to rolling the fronts, but everyone out here that I know of says that the fronts on coupes and verts can't be rolled. (or, not enough to be of much benefit......) I really like the Michelins, but I dont think they make a matching Michelin A/S in 225/35/19 or an 215/35/19. I may have to use one of my Hankook sets on the rears and then buy smaller fronts that match. DAMN IT!

If you are willing to break the paint seal on your fenders, you can move your fenders out a little bit. This will increase the gap between your fenders and hood but it can give you a few mm of clearance.

^^^^ As much as I appreciate the suggestion, I don't know if I want to have gaps between my hood and fenders. I might try to switch tire brands and go a bit smaller to see if it will work. Thanks for your thoughts! ^^^^
