Guys, I haven't really posted much about my car since the introduction, so, here is my 2003 330i ZSP. The factory build sheet shows that it has ZSP, ZPP, and ZCW packages. It is topaz blue on a black interior with a 5 speed manual transmission. I come from family of BMW enthusiasts, and my dad is a tech at the BMW plant in Greer, SC. I currently am a full time student, and will become a South Carolina State Trooper next year.

Here she is the day I bought her:
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/03/7ytuvuma.jpg

After installing a new valve cover gasket and having an oil pan gasket installed, my first visual modifications were DEPO clear corners and yellow fogs.
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/03/tasububy.jpg
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/03/9u7yde3e.jpg

Somewhere in between, I added a zhp shift knob, alcantara boots, all weather mats, and also recovered my pillars.

The car sat like that for a while until I added CCFL angel eyes and Plasti-Dipped my kidneys matte-black, which were later replaced with piano black grilles. A Cosmos Racing V2 cold air intake, as well as both intake boots were also added in the fall of 2013.

I purchased a set of style m135's from Wyatt (Wertyu78) in November of 2013 and ran those until I purchased my VMR's.
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/03/ysaju2uv.jpg
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/03/nuse8aje.jpg

And that leads me to now. A couple of days I sold my style 135's, and made a trip to Sevierville, Tn to meet Connor (miniD). I purchased his gunmetal VMR VB3's, and I couldn't be happier. Fitment is great, and they look amazing!

http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/03/a4a4eqy4.jpg
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/03/u9aqyjus.jpg

I've also replaced my DISA, changed plugs, replaced the CCV hoses and the oil seperator, oil filter housing gasket, and brakes, oil, etc.

That leads me to today. Let me know what you guys think, and if you have any questions please feel free to ask!

Pretty good looking car.

For your headlight ballast, buy the M3 part that puts the Ballast on the strut tower. Part numbers can be found on RealOEM.com.

I've been meaning to do it, but I've just been ridiculously busy with school. That's on the to do list though!

Awesome. My ZKWs suck but the ballast cant be relocated like the ALs or Bosch lights. Hopefully I can find AL housings to replace the current ones and reinstall the V2 intake.

I don't, but it is routed to the brake duct down in the bumper. If you have ZKW headlights, I doubt it would work because the ballast needs to be relocated. The silicone of the actual intake portion will flex, but I'm not sure if I would trust that much pressure being on my ballast. I have AL headlights, and it was relatively easy to remove the ballast and relocate it. I'll be picking up an M3 ballast soon though to mount it to the strut tower.

I live in Greenville, but go to school in Clemson. From Greenville, I'm about 2 hours from Charlotte though.

I grew up in Aiken and have a nephew at Clemson now. We also have another member here who is a Clemson student (Clemsone46?) and a few others in your area.

Clemson is a great place. My dream was to get my degree from Clemson, but I'll be cutting my college run short because I'll be entering the law enforcement field in the next year or so. There are a few zhp owners that go to school with me that just haven't joined the mafia.

Respectable career choice though I would encourage you to continue towards your degree as time and finances allow--a lot of options there now and it can open doors later. Local, state, other law enforcement?

Get them to join!

I'll be entering the field as a state trooper. I will finish with my associates degree before I begin my career. I've always wanted to be a police officer, and my desire to fulfill my dream is as much now as it ever has been.

Clemsone46 is actually a Clemson grad; I met up with him over winter break to buy one of his spare wheels. This is my friend Mack's zhp. It's sitting on vmr v710's, and they look awesome!

Will do, Shawn. I'll be working with Troop 3 in the upstate, hopefully.

Pip, his door was open at the time I took the photo. The roof rack looks awesome. I may have to throw it on my car to see if I like it!

They're eBay headers, I'll be picking them up locally this Sunday. I'll be picking up oem exhaust manifold gaskets and an oem SAP block off plate very soon. I'll also be buying an oem crankcase vent valve at that time as well.

I began a paint correction tonight on my badly swirled car.

Some of the materials I used
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/12/6uga3y7u.jpg
-Griot's Garage D/A Polisher
-Uber polishing pads
-Meguiars M105, M205, and Endurance Tire Gel

All taped up
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/12/9uhyjajy.jpg

Corrected paint (left) vs. untouched (right)
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/12/by6y9aba.jpg

My stopping point for tonight http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/12/5adajyna.jpg

Tomorrow I'll be correcting the passenger side and rear of the car. I'm very happy with how everything has turned out thus far. My Uber Yellow (heavy polish) pad has disappeared, so I'm using M105 on the Uber Orange (medium polish) pad, and M205 on the Uber Green (polish) pad. I certainly would've gotten better results with the yellow pad, but the current setup is doing great.

I'm very impressed with how well everything has turned out thus far. The paint isn't perfect, but the correction has made a great difference. The top of my trunk lid is by far the worst, so I'm very interested to see how it turns out.

I'll post some final shots once everything is completed.

If you're hesitant on trying it, or scared that your paint could be damaged, all I can say is try it before you come to a conclusion. The process was very straight forward, and to say I am pleased with how it turned out is an understatement. The results are incredible.
