Looking at possibly getting a set of Fikse FM10's, 17x9et43 fronts and 17x10et31. I know I can make the rears fit, I am just curious if it will look good. The car is my DD and I have no desire to lower or add a bunch of negative camber. Just looking for some opinions on the overall appearance. I would not be looking for a stretched look either. Thanks.

A little bit of stretch and a nice drop would look so good. 17s are easily do-able on our cars. The rear offset will need a fender roll.

Sent from my GS3.

You'll need to roll the rear fenders, remove the bumper clip, shave the bolt, dial in camber.

To pull it off correctly, you'll need a decent drop with some coilovers. The stock suspension is a bit too squishy for aggressive offsets and fat tires. I did a 19x10 rear wheel with a stretched tire and it barely fit. You'll probably need to run a 255 series tire or smaller.

Personally, I wouldn't go with an aggressive fitment in a 17" size on an E46. Do it with an 18" or even better, a 19".

My old setup:

Front 19x9 ET48 plus 20mm spacer
Rear 19x10 ET45 plus 10mm spacer

I have been chasing these specific wheels for my E36 forever and now they are available, it is for sale. I would certainly prefer 18's but can't afford to custom order a set.

Didn't realize it was for an E36.
