JP, I like old cars, love classic cars, and am addicted to certain BMWs, this one doesn't tickle any of those buttons for me. Probably very rare and desirable for some but to me looks like a left over & tired 40's body design with a new/latest (at that time) V8 dropped in. Guessing I don't understand the significance.

I agree with your assessment. If I was to buy one it would end up heavily modified and be very little left of the stock 502. Think of that show Overhaulin and how those guys modify the look and performance of older cars - that is what I would do but to a much higher level. I know some people like them stock, but this is one I would do a ridiculous restomod to
