This is my thread to record the history and enjoyment of my ZHP.
Purchased 3/13/13 From Marietta Sportscar in Marietta, GA
Price: $16,300
Miles: 77k

I found the car online and talked with Dave at Marietta Sportscar for a few weeks about the car. First we emailed a couple of times and then when talks got serious, I bought one-way tickets to Atlanta for me and my wife. Dave picked me up at the airport.

The Test Drive
We loved the car when we first saw it and it ran perfectly. We drove it to Chic-Fil-A and had lunch and looked it over. Here is where I found a nice surprise in an iPhone dock from Bavsound. This was never mentioned in the listing.

The Lift
We returned ready to buy. But I asked them to put it on the lift so I could check it out and do my due diligence. On the lift I found they just replaced the FCABs. But the most obvious thing I noticed was Turner front and rear sway bars.

This ZHP already had a K&N CAI.

The deal was done and we began our three-day drive home, first staying in Nashville, then Memphis, then Little Rock and finally bringing her home. By "her" I mean "Marietta." My wife came up with the idea that since we got the car in Marietta, GA, we should name her Marietta. Genius.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/06/11/nupa6yme.jpg

First, Floor Mats
While my wife was taking her turn driving I was on my phone searching for floor mats. I found a set with the M logo. They arrived the same day we retuned home. I put in two black grommets and floor hooks on the driver's side in addition to the stock Velcro fasteners. The metal heel plate is positioned at an angle to allow my left heel good pivot for clutching and my right heel for heel-toe braking.

With the genius name bestowment by my wife, I designed a custom logo and had a hood insulation panel made.

Also, note the tone-on-tone decals under the hood. Plus the BMW metal M plate on the air scoop and windshield cleaner reservoir.

In April of 2013, I did my first autocross! I sucked. But I learned a lot!

Where did you get the magnetic numbers? I would like to order some as well.

After several weeks of ownership, a person pulled out in front of me. I was a wreck, literally. Grown man crying! I used insurance money to get the front bumper fixed and repainted, added a cool M sticker to the front I found on ebay with some side skirts.

Also took this opportunity to have the markers painted titiansilber and added black kidney grills,

and a new set of Hankook RS-3's!

Megan Lowering Springs gave me a very good drop and increased stiffness.

HANKOOK RS-3s

I went with 235/40/18 front, and 265/35/18 rear.

New Coby Wheel with overwrap for thicker diameter. I went with just black stitching as I thought the tri-color was overkill. Awesome job! I love it every day!

Jana's First Autocross
She was #33, by just taking the 0 off and putting it on the roof.

She was only two seconds behind me!

Not sure how old the air filter was on the CAI when I got her, but I found new one. I was really amazed at how much even and responsive it was with this new filter. It wasn't having any problems before, but I could tell a big difference anyway. I had done a recharge kit on the older one once, but now can cycle between the two every once and a while.

Definitely good stuff. I know you mentioned it before, but I'm itching for a nice hood insulator like that. Where did you get that done again?

HOOD INSULATION PANEL
This was a custom design I did and had printed at my sign shop, then had sewn over the stock panel. I added checkered flag tabs cut from a flat sheet of PVC and covered with checkered flag graphic tape. My cost was about $160.
