Hi all,

I'm Jessica. I'm a long time BMW enthusiast and finally got my first one last Fall. A 1990 325i. My dad traded his 1959 Land Rover for this car, and then I found him another e30 and traded him for this white one. I'm sad to see the old Land Rover go, it's been in my life for more than 15 years, but I love this e30. I'll probably keep this e30 for a very long time. But sooner or later, when I have the money saved up, my goal is to buy a ZHP. ZHP's are one of my all time favorite BMW's along with e30's.

This e30 is extremely fun to drive. The previous owner was setting it up for Pro3 racing before he traded my dad for the Land Rover. I still don't know what half of the stuff on this list is. I have a lot of learning to do.

Here's what the kid listed:

1990 BMW 325i for trade that has a rebuilt engine built for pro 3 racing
Engine mods:
New rebuilt M20b25 Engine, built for Pro 3 racing.
Ported and Polished Cylinder Head with M30b35 double valve springs.
Custom bored throttle body.
E36 S50 fuel injectors.
Gasket matched Intake Manifold.
Bavarian Auto Sport Ceramic Coated Headers.
New Magna Flow cat.
Dinan performence computer chip.
Fuel pressure gauge installed.
Custom oil pan to hold more oil for racing.

Drive Train:
New fly wheel.
New clutch.
Z4 short shifter.

Suspension mods:
No power steering pump.
Bilstein Sport Shocks.
Eibach stage 3 race springs from Ireland Engineering.
Billet Aluminum Rear Shock Mount with urethane bushings with
reinforcement plate from Ireland Engineering.
Urethane Rear Subframe Mounts street from Ireland Engineering.
Rear Trailing Arm Urethane Bushing Kit from Ireland Engineering.
Front solid control arm bushings.
Custom made rear Camber and Toe Adjustment.

Welcome. I <3 E30's, they are what first got me into BMW's. Yours looks great; does that one have an LSD? Too bad the RR has to go, such a great truck.

I see the rear headrests are in your car, that's not common at all, wish mine had em. I love e30's as well and have 2 currently. Sounds like yours is ready for turbo/intercooler.

Awesome E30. I have plans on having one as a project/auto-x car a few years from now.

Thank you all for the welcome. We do not know exactly if my car has an LSD. Anyone know of an easy way to check?

Its easy, check the tag on it or let me know what the stamp under it looks like including the color.

Bump, powerbrake it and see if both wheels spin and leave marks on the ground.

Welcome Jessica.

I noticed that your new baby gained a little Deutschland flag stripe on your hood. Your first mod? As for those other mods, someone put a lot of time and $$ with that list.

Welcome to the forum, I'm a noob as well. I can remember one of the first memories I have for the love of a BMW: A friend of mine showed up at my house in his e30 which he recently purchased, which was probably 10 yrs. ago now... and when he showed up, he was wearing the helmet he used for Autocrossing... after letting me check it out for a bit, he did did the most ridiculous smokey burnout all the way down my road, and I thought... "Damn, that is a cool car. I think I need to get me one of those." So many years later, I finally filled my garage with an e46 ZHP for myself, and an e53 for my wife. :)

Your garage sounds like mine. We have an Imola ZHP and a white X5.

Huh, must be a ZHP-owner thing: Silver Gray ZHP & Sterling Gray X5 here, too!

On-topic, that's one helluva E30 to have as your first! Congrats & welcome to the family!

Welcome Jessica! Always nice to see a new local member, and from the thread I copied below it sounds like we're neighbors. Let me know if you ever need anything. Oh and in that thread I posted a link for you to a ZHP right up the street from me, you should check it out. Cheers.

We looked foreeeever for an Alpine White... but they are hard to come by... Sterling Gray fits the bill, and it had everything my wife and I were looking for. But sharp sharp with the white! :)
