Need some urgent feedback. I worked out a deal to pick up a complete set of AL headlights to replace my crappy ZKWs in a couple of hours.

Are the AL's 100% plug and play in my ZHP sedan? Simply remove old ZKW and bolt in the AL assembly?

To clarify, this is not retrofitting. I'm talking the entire headlight assembly.

Thanks!

Yes. Plug and play. I used M3 ALs in mine.

Sweet, thank you. I figured they would be but wanted to double-check!

Wait, how'd you use M3 (coupe) headlights in your sedan? Assuming the car you did it to is the one in your signature?

Yeah. I just swapped the bezels and lenses. The benefit here is that I can relocate the ballast and run a long tube intake behind the bumper.

Plug and play.

I also used M3 AL's but mine were retrofitted to replace the bombed ZKW's.

Thanks. So this is regardless if the car has ZCW or not, right? The link you sent, someone mentioned ZCW but I didn't notice a reply to it.

I have ZCW so looks like I'll just need to trim....here

You only have to remove the tab near the fenders. That's where the igniter will be.
