I never thought this day would come as I planned to keep this touring forever and pass it down to my son. As life changes, I got a new job and have to move. Also requires me to have a 4wd truck. I can't afford to have a truck and this touring. That would be ideal though!

The ZHP engine was swapped from an '05 ZHP sedan with 70k from a forum member(replaced all belts, tensioners, and seals in the process. I have a list of what was done by the BMW mechanic)
Custom Active Autowerke tune (AA took a week to complete the tune, supposedly, the ECU has the latest of everything)
OEM Touring M Tech II body kit
BMW Performance strut bar
BMW Performance intake
BMW Performance exhaust
OEM Style 135 wheels
Coby wheel (I have the sport wheel as well)
H&R Sport Cup kit with install kit, then alignment (I have the stock sport suspension as well)
50% tint all around
OEM rear shade screens (expensive but worth it for my kids)
Eonon D5150 head unit
Eonon headrest monitors (I have the original headrests as well)
Hardwired Back-up Camera
AC relocation kit
New cup holders
New front control arm bushings
New hand brake console surround
New expansion tank
OEM Roof carrier bars
OEM surf board rack
OEM Bicycle carriers (I have two of them)
fan delete with new fan
Continental tires with about 70% life left
Trunk mat
like new black carpet floor mats
About to get a fresh oil change
330 calipers (not yet installed)
SMG clock spring (not yet installed)

My next plans were to add cube interior trim, shadowline exterior trim, etc...but my plans have changed.

I really like wagons! I just bought a sedan so this is out but my ideal ZHP would have been a wagon with an manual 6 speed. There are not many wagons out there, let alone ones like yours. Very nice. Good luck with your sale.

You did a beautiful job and put in a lot of hard work to make a custom ZHP wagon - truly a unique vehicle. I commend you and I tip my hat to you. Hopefully you find someone in the ZHP Mafia Family who will give it a good home.

When you do find a good home for it, I understand if you shed a tear or two. It is hard to say goodbye sometimes. I lost a non ZHP 330Ci convertible after being rear ended by a Kia. It pulled at my heart strings that the insurance company totaled it and I had to say goodbye and I didn't have anywhere near the amount of work into it as you. Best of luck, but I hope that you find a way to keep it in your garage.

Thanks for the kind words, I hope no one ever has to have that happen with their car. I hope my touring goes to someone that cares for it as much as I do. I have not listed it in any other platform yet, hoping it goes to a forum member first.

E46 wagons never came with a 6 speed, it would have to be a retrofit/upgrade by the owner.

We talked but I'm waiting to get my old one back, the current owner said he'll likely sell within the next year.

This is a very interesting car! What would it take to convert to a manual? Cost and time? Are there any issues? I've heard a new odometer is needed, a tamper dot can potentially be thrown, issues with firewall, etc.

I am glad you asked this because it was on my list to do if I was keeping the car.

You don't need a new odometer unless you are bothered by leaving the screen for the gear selector. Or you can find spare parts and remove it.

The automatic has an extra window that manual cars don't have on the instrument cluster. It is used to show what gear is selected on the automatic shift lever.
You can, in theory, continue to use the automatic instrument cluster, but it might be a little funky because there'd be a display active that no longer applies to the car. I don't know what that behavior might be.

You would need another instrument cluster, which you'd then have to code to the car, otherwise you'll get a tamper dot. I'm not sure if a new DME is needed; I know there is a computer, or a part of the computer, that is for the automatic transmission. Cost would probably be a couple of grand, not including the price of the transmission. 6-speed manuals for ZHP's typically cost between $1200-1500. I'd probably double that including parts and labor, at a minimum, depending on shop labor rates and knowledge.

Tried talking my mother into it. Currently drives an '11 Ody. Shes on board with everything but the price. We owe too much on the van to swing the purchase. Thought for sure she'd nibble at the thought. GLWS!!

She's away right now. And cannot be swayed. She does want to tell you that it is a "very nice looking car." She likes the color and utility of the thing.
