Hey Mafia,
It's been awhile. I'm looking at going to a different suspension, what is the best combo? Coilovers?

Go coils if you want to adjust height/dampening.

I went with the BC BR's with 8/12kg spring rates so I'll let you know how they ride after I install them.

Lots if people are going with BC or ST right now. ST is made by kw and run a bit cheaper than BC. I do carry both. And others. :)

Don't skimp is my advice.

definitely do NOT skimp on suspension. i would highly suggest going with coilovers for the adjustability of both height and dampening. gives the driver a more "customizable" suspension.

suspension goes with the classic adage: "you get what you pay for"

on my 04 ZHP sedan i had F/R H&R sways which dramatically increased its handling. never got around to suspension. if i scoop up another, suspension and sway bars will be the first on the bill to replace.

the E30 you see below had KW coilovers on it and at that height (m52 motor WITH a steel skid plate) sat only a few inches (3-4) off the ground and it rode VERY well.

My personal modification timeline always put suspension and tires as priority 1 before anything else. I would do sway bars and some good tires first then add coilovers after.

I love my ground controls coilovers + swift upgrades :)

Are you going to track it or autocross it? If yes, how competitive are you and what tires do you plan to use?
