ST Coilover Kit BMW E46 Sedan Coupe Convertible Sport Wagon

ST Coilovers - Speedtech: Looking to lower your car the right way?
Want the best ride, handling and performance all in one package?
Tired of the offshore Knock-Off Coilover Game -Same generic aluminum product, different colors, different Name?
Worried about how long your purchase will last, and if you can actually get warrantee if it breaks?

Suspension Techniques has the answers to all of these questions...
Speedtech Coilovers by KW

Yes you read right, by KW. ST Speedtech Coilovers are made by KW, the leading brand worldwide for height adjustable coilover systems. In fact ST is owned by KW automotive. Just think of ST as KW’s little brother!

What's the difference between KW coilovers and ST Coilovers? Four simple differences:

*Construction*
ST Speedtech Coilovers are constructed of high grade steel, and heavy galvanized for great rust protection.
KW Coilovers are made from INOX stainless steel, which is 100% rust free.

*Damper Options*
ST Speedtech Coilovers offer only a non-dampening adjustable solution along with the height adjustability, just like the KW V1’s.

KW Coilover systems are available in three different dampening options:
V1 Coilovers - Height Adjustable with Preset Dampening
V2 Coilovers - Height Adjustable with Adjustable Rebound Dampening
V3 Coilovers - Height Adjustable with Adjustable Rebound & Compression Dampening

*Warranty*
ST Speedtech Coilovers offer a 5 year Limited Warranty to the original purchaser.

KW Coilover systems offer a full Limited Lifetime Warrantee to the original purchaser

thanks. it would be nice if you could get the progressive rates (softest and stiffest) for the rears - this was my only beef with them on my B5 A4 Avant - the rear was too soft.

"
Thank you for contacting ST Suspensions, the 90222 kit holds a front rate of 345 lbs/in while the rear spring is progressive. Unfortunately I do not have a rate to supply for the rear spring as it does not hold a constant rate.

If you have any more questions please let me know."

You would think they would least have a min and max :dunno

yes, even a progressive-rate spring has a minimum and maximum!

thanks for trying. i might think about replacing the ST rear springs with a hyperco or swift spring.

well, swift is its own company, i think BC is offering their springs as an option on their products. they supposedly make really good springs - very light, too.

hyperco is nice as well - they guarantee their springs to be within 2% of their advertised spring rate, which is really good. i think eibach states 10% for their ERS line (10% is a lot!).
