Anyone here ever split their three piece wheels and reassembled them? If so, what sealant did you use? I've read so many varying opinions.

I'm still reassembling three of my four wheels and all that will be left is to seal them. . Man what a PITA and tedious process to reassemble!

For my Kinesis, I've read that Dow Corning 832 sealant is best. I just can't find it locally. It's cheap online but shipping is the same cost as the product! Hard pill for me to swallow.

Thanks for the tip. I don't mean to coat them and protect them after assembly. I mean to seal the three prices together.

One day I'm gonna build a whole engine with this, no paper gaskets

Toyota FIPG is the best. Built many Toyota motors with it. I use it for everything. Never thought of using it for wheels though

I ended up buying the Dow Corning 832. Shipping was more than the sealant!
