View Full Version : Any way to find this power steering hose bracket?

A rubber grommet that supports a power steering hose (that goes between the rack and the pump) broke. Surprise surprise, you can't just buy the bracket; it's part of a whole $250 assembly.

Any idea where to find one, besides a junk yard? I've zip tied it for now.

Also, why isn't this bolted on. It's held together by a river grommet thing?!

My mechanic said they're used to hold down power steering reservoir on 7 series. I have a new one in the mail to me from him. If I get a part number, I'll be sure to post it here.

I think Charlie ended up replacing the whole thing IIRC. Hope this works for you and please let us know.
