Y2K S2K... I always thought it would've been the coolest license plate for this car. :biggrin

The car is a 2000 Honda S2000, white over tan leather, 6 speed, 116K miles. My brother bought it with 90K on it. This is a AP1 version of the car (the first of two generations) which has the 2.0 liter engine versus the 2.2 liter in the later years. The AP1 also has the higher redline, 9000RPM. This car in particular originally had the red leather, but it was swapped for the more desirable tan from a 2006 AP2 car(slightly better styling and in this case, much better condition).

I'm not too sure on what this car has for options or "packages" as they were pretty bare bones from what I can tell, but I do know the rough list of mods and maintenance.

Maintenance Done
New plugs/coilpacks (also removed and cleaned TB, IAC, PCV) @100K
New brakes all around (slotted rotors, pads, SS lines, new rear calipers) @103K
New clutch/flywheel (OEM) @105K
Rebuilt cylinder head with AP2 keepers/retainers (its an OEM upgrade from what brother explains). @105K
New soft top purchased (barely used so still in perfect condition)
New radiator @105K
Clutch fluid flush @105K
Oil Change with Mobil 1 10W30 at 3000 mile intervals. (I did the most recent one at 115K)

Mods
K&N Intake (full intake, not just the drop-in filter)
Magnaflow exhaust
Ingals Engine Torque Damper (seen in pics as brace to passenger strut tower)
Megan Racing Track Coilovers
OEM hard top (cost $3500 and is extremely rare)
Enkei PF01ss wheels on Hankook Ventus V12 tires (17x9" all around, +60 front, +48 rear)
Kenwood head unit
Front lip, molded and painted
Shaved badges (front and rear)

Currently, the wheels are shown bronze, which is Plastidip. The wheels are actually white with a polished lip. There is a little bit of rash on one or two of them, but overall not bad. The dip is holding up fairly well.

Also, there is a little cracking of the paint where the lip was molded to the front bumper. This partly due to the bumper not being fit 100% perfectly. One small plastic rivet needs to be refit under the headlight (I haven't had time).

Car could benefit from a paintless dent repair (we think it might suffered from some hail damage), but its nothing that wouldn't be noticeable without really looking at it. Overall the car looks amazing.

Asking price is $18,000. Again, this is my brother's car so I have to verify all negotiations with him, but I do have ability and power to sell.

Pass this on to your friends, these cars are RARE and desirable! Thanks everyone!

Those are pretty wicked little cars. I rode in one recently and the owner was telling me about all the mods he'd done to it.

Nice clean car!
The guy I just bought my M3 from had one of these before his ///M.

Looks very clean for an early year AP1 model. However for that price you are entering AP2 territory.

GLWS though. They are fun cars to drive.

I rode along in this car a few weeks ago and it's fun little machine. Exhaust had a nice tone especially in the high RPM range. Would make anyone happy to own it. If you're reading this then You should buy it...yes...you.

Thanks for the replies guys. I know it is priced on the higher end, but the car is clean and ready to roll. Besides, it's my brother's car, he set the selling point.

Great car. I had an AP2 for a few years. You may want to part out the hard top. I don't know if it'll gather as much interest with that included in the price tag. Also, post it on s2ki.com
