So, I have a set of taillights that came with the car that I assume are Eagle Eyes or a knock off of them. Only part number I see on the back of the tail lights without removing them is BM065 on the top and bottom PCB.

I have been having a weird problem in that my brake light on the driver's side would only work if my head lights were on. After swapping around the guts of the two sets of taillights, I found this thing to be the culprit:

I'm guessing this has something to do with preventing an error code as a result of using LED taillights.

So, the $64,000 question is: Where can I get a replacement? :blink

However, mine looks more like this, with the blue thing:

I bought a kit, it should be here Wednesday. I'll be happy to not have to run my HIDs 24/7 now in order to get my brake light to work.
