I just posted up a Craigslist post for a laptop I'm selling. Here is a copy and paste from the ad:

Lenovo ThinkPad T530. This laptop is in brand new condition. It was purchased as a new unit that was damaged in shipping. The damage was a cracked LCD, which I replaced. Otherwise, the unit itself looks brand new; there is no wear on the keyboard or touchpad, nor on the lid, so it looks as new as a used unit can look.

This ThinkPad still has a factory warranty on it until February 2015, though 02/06/2015.
The only issue with the laptop is that the replacement LCD has one stuck pixel on the screen. It isn't noticeable when there is a picture on the screen such as a wallpaper, and is really only noticeable when the background is black. I've tried to picture it (with my finger pointing to it) but it can't be seen in the picture. Otherwise the screen functions perfectly.

Specs:
Lenovo ThinkPad T530 - 15.6" LCD 1366x768
Type 2359-5JU
Intel Core i5-3320M @ 2.6GHz
4GB RAM
500GB Hard Drive
Windows 7 Pro x64
Webcam
Comes with 65W AC adapter

The system is so new, it has less than 10 cycles on the factory original battery (don't remember actual cycle count), and still has the protective plastics over the Lenovo logo and the webcam.

Asking $450, located in Bridgeport, CT.

For ZHP Mafia members only, I will ship at your expense.

Pics can be found at the original CL ad here:

Beautiful Botond. I need a new laptop. If I didn't have to sell my first born to pay for lawyers I would buy it.

That was quick.

What are you running now for a computer?

Actually, Peter... I sold my MacBook Pro Retina to Patrick. Funny how that worked out. lol

I bought a ThinkPad W510 right before I sold my MBP to replace it with something cheaper. The specs aren't too far off, though the performance kind of is due to the generational differences between the hardware. My W510 was built in 2010, so it has a first gen Core i7-820QM quad core, and I upgraded it to 16GB of RAM (this thing takes a max of 32GB!!!). It also has a SSD (only SATA2), so from a functional perspective, it's almost as fast as my MBP was, though not nearly as light, or efficient on battery. Oh well; it gets the job done.

That reminds me, my brother still owes me some money for that. I decided to keep my old MBP- and he bought yours off me. I kept the house and keyboard though :)

Sweet. I have the W530 with 32gb of ram and it screams!

ThinkPads are tanks. Fat, ugly, amazing tanks. Love em.

Ugly?? I resent that statement! :biggrin
I personally love the way they look. All the consumer laptops are too gimmicky.

Yeah, most consumer laptops are polished turds.

I love my big ass ThinkPad that looks like it was Plasti Dipped. Hehe

Honestly, they are good looking from a professional point of view.
Kinda like BMW "Business" radios.

They are definitely the business. It's amazing how long they can stretch the batteries on them, too (except for the workstation class, of course). I used a T440 at work all day on battery and after 8+ hours still had like 20% left!

Awesome. Looking forward to receiving this fine specimen, handcrafted by BP himself. He's putting in an SSD for me as well as 6 GB of RAM.

Fantastic Dane!

I'll vouch, BP will do it right. The MBP I bought looked new in box. If he hadn't told me it wasn't, I never would have known.
