Hello all,

Can't believe I haven't stumbled on this great site before now... I'm a long time Bimmer enthusiast who's owned everything from a '76 3.0Si, through 2002s, E30 M3s , E34 M5s, and now I'm running two E46s: an '03 330CiC and an '04 325Xi Touring. I bought my cabrio about a year and a half ago to test the waters so to speak, and have loved the car. Lately though I've been seriously bitten by the ZHP bug and am on the hunt for a clean low mileage replacement for my 330.

I just missed out on a great car from the Chicago area (don't know if Mark was on the board or not...), an '04 Graphite grey over Alcantara 6spd with 63K that he'd owned since 4K. C'est la vie.

It took me over a year and half to find a 'regular' cabrio I was willing to pull the trigger on, so I don't mind searching until I find the right ZHP. Of course I'm looking for just that car, but I'm sure it will eventually turn up.

In the meantime, I've already found this site a great help in ascertaining a fair market price for these cars, and will be posting the specs of what I'm looking for in the FS/WTB forum soon.

Cheers!

Michael

Welcome! I'm just an hour from you in Sedalia. Are you going to the BBQ in StL next weekend?

Thanks for the welcome!

I can tell already that this will be a great forum and resource. I hope I will have some useful contributions for the group.

I've spent a long time on E46 Fanatics, and have to admit that while it has been a boon for great DIYs and general info, the tone of the board has, well, how should I say, been shifting recently. I don't know, maybe I'm just getting too old and crochety... I like Bimmerforums as well, but damn it's great to have a ZHP specific site.

Now just got to find the car.

Michael, you don't have to say anything more about those forums. We completely understand. I've been a member of those forums for, in some cases, more than ten years.

Good luck in finding that car. Looking forward to seeing what you pick up.

Again, welcome to the site.
