Came across this and, for the price you can get a stock M3 sway for, it seems worth it to me. Does anyone object to putting a stock M3 front sway on my vert if it only costs ~$40?

No objections will be presented.

Is it a noticeable difference?

Yeah, I can tell on aggressive turn-ins that it tends to understeer less.

Yeah, I can tell on aggressive turn-ins that it tends to understeer less.

What is crazy is that a larger front bar should make it understeer MORE, but time and time again I run across first hand accounts of this not being the case with the E46.

One look at an aggressively driven car on stock suspension, however, will reveal the secret. Front tire wear is usually everywhere but the middle of the tire. Even with higher tire pressures.
A fatter front bar sounds like it may actually allow the front to grip more (more even concact patch) by allowing less roll. The other way to do it is with more camber.

I'm off to Craigslist to find one myself...

Let us know how it feels compared to your stock set up once you get a good couple drives in.

Got mine for 70 with bushings and links. 26mm. Its a noticeable difference when I fling it into a corner. Not a night and day difference, considering my stock was 24mm. Still, worthwhile. Its the little things.
