Anybody going to this? NJMSP is about 30-40 minutes from our house.
I haven't had too much time to look through everything that's going on....but the racing should be pretty good

We can host about 5 people maybe more for the events. Anyone interested?
Has anyone really gone over the schedule?

I haven't looked at the schedule but Brett peer pressured me into going :biggrin
May I stay at the Sockethead and Kpro residence? I have back issues and require a mattress of some sort. :)

Bump. Johnmadd and I are seriously considering a day (or two?) of a driving school. Anyone else thinking of attending any parts of this national event? I've been to two of these in the past and they never disappoint the true BMW lover. Also it looks like rates go up on September 1st, so we are best to book in advance.

New Jersey Motorsports Park has two full blown tracks so there will be plenty to see/do...

We'll most likely be taking the golf cart too... the facility is huge so it will make getting around really easy.

IDK. Kris and I haven't had a chance to look at anything yet... we're open to suggestions...

Haha, lots to choose from, but everything is really spread out over the week. I was thinking of doing the HPDE for a day or two, but still undecided 100%. I suppose the biggest challenge is determining what days you are able to make it over - weekend would be my guess for the majority of us. Johnmadd sent me a note earlier and said that he has a major work project interfering, so he is not going to be able to make it unfortunately. Anyone other mafiosos looking at attending?

Yea weekend would most likely be when we would be able to attend... I thought there would be more enthusiasm for this event?

I know. Exactly what I was thinking. Instead all I hear are the crickets...

Pricing seems to be kinda steep. $75 registration fee just to hangout at the track?

We decided last minute to head down to the track on Saturday afternoon. To my surprise, it was free to get in.
It was pretty late in the day and the racing was winding down but we still saw some good action. My 2 year old twin boys were excited to watch the race cars.

I wish we had more time to attend the other events. The Seaview is a beautiful old hotel. I've stayed there several times
