I am a much bigger fan of the photography than of the car. I saw one of these today. The looks are not for me. Additionally, it sounds too docile. Give me an E39 M5 any day.

But I do like the photo.

lol, pardon my poor english, but Bangle Booty means "fat a$$"?

Bangle Booty means that Chris Bangle designed it. Bloated rear end.

Gabe,
You're right, that is an M5.

That sound is WHAT? DOCILE??? You must be smokin' something, dude. It sounds absolutely MENACING!

I have no issues with the ass of that car. None whatsoever. I don't understand all the negativity it garnishes. I'm not saying it's the beat looking BMW ever built, but it has style and I like it.

That photo, however, is excellent. I would be proud of that one.

i thougt they were a little quiet the first time i drove it... then it hit about 4000 rpm and the second stage whatevers opened and it sounded sick!! i love this chassis. it will be hard for me to top owning my e60 535i. i did love it so..

I love the look and grumble of the e39 and hope to own one some day, if I could find some low miles, but that v10 sound is intoxicating! Sounds similar to an Italian v10 at higher RPMS where it counts.

This particular M5 has a full RPI exhaust, Transmission tune, Engine tune, RPI scoops, oil cooler, and a few other things, including a full interior trim wrapped in CF by yours truly.
This is the best sounding sedan I have ever heard in my life, not a doubt about it.
Probably one of the best sounding cars, too.

Thanks everyone for all the compliments on the photo!! I REALLY appreciate it, from the bottom of my ghey heart.

This m5 probably sounds menacing from every gear.

That's what I meant when I made my previous comment. Doesn't sound special until it's WOT at higher rpms. Wish it sounded more muscular at lower speeds and rpms.

I was at the first ever moto gp (motorcycle race) in the us at indy a few years back. The pace cars were an m6 and an m3. the m6 having the v10. when they would hammer down up the straights, the m3 sounded much better than the m6. i was surprised to say the least, but the m3 just sounded bad ass....
oh, and damn nice pic gabe. you might be too professional to compete in our photo contest from here on out.:shifty

I can respect that some folks don't care for this car, but it's always been one of my favorites. I'd take one of these in a heartbeat!

Thanks everybody.

Mark, the guy goes to the Lolitas once in a while. Next time I'll have him show you what that thing can do.

It's absurd how it sounds in every RPM, every gear, every MPH.

Gabe, cool. Do that. Would love to hear it. Sounds like a beast.
