Those definitely aren't 17's; they're too small to be that size.

I would love to have 17's but I'm working with what I have. Plus, 16's are less expensive to put rubber on.

If I wasn't all ready scared of every speed bump I see, I wouldn't think twice about it. A little drop from a good suspension kit would be awesome. And maybe some 17" wheels, too.

It's never the speedbumps you have to worry about. Those are nothing, unless the car is slammed, in which case it doesn't belong on the street anyway.

I've scraped on a few speed bumps. They were menacingly tall though. Like I said before, a slight drop would be a nice look improvement to accompany a good performance suspension setup.

These had newer tires with more tread not to mention better grip and a little wider.
