I wanted to make a thread of the current inventory of Dell Laptops/Desktops/Workstations that I've refurbished:

A little background on me. I work in the IT field by day and buy pallets of machines that come off lease from a corporate environment and from Metro Nashville. What makes me unique is I am able to offer better products for cheaper than most because of Dell's large local presence here in Nashville and I refurbish them from my own home without any rent/overhead expenses. Typically all the machines are business-class machines, not consumer-grade that you'd find at Best Buy/Office Depot/Electronic Express. They are made with much better parts and are designed to be left on for much longer than the consumer-grade machines. I offer 30 day hardware warranty from date of delivery on everything. I've been refurbishing machines for many years and know these machines extremely well. Feel free to send me a PM or post below if interested.

Hmm, I have a potential deal for you... I recently acquired a Dell Optiplex SX280 desktop mini tower, was going to attempt to outfit it for a garage/coding computer... But, I think your last laptop will be a better fit... Could we work out a trade/cash deal? I'm sure you could do some work refitting this computer and then selling it for a profit...

Hey Jupiter. Unfortunately the sx280 doesn't support the hardware needed to install Windows 7 or later so I wouldn't be interested in it. I've got 2-3 locals interested in the $140 laptop but if you paypal'd over the $140 then I'll pay the s&h and send you the tracking updates afterwards. Let me know.

It'll run it, just not very well. 2GB RAM max... ouch.
