Hey Guys,

Its come time for me to replace my front lower control arm bushings. Im looking to see what options I have. I have heard good things about Meyle HD and Powerflex . (currently running powerflex on my e36 m3). My question is Could i run a e46 m3 Power flex bushing on my zhp?
I came across a really good deal on online but I dont want to waste my money. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stay away from Meyle HD.

If you want poly bushings, you have multiple options but the most popular ones are AKG or Powerflex.

If you want rubber bushings that are an upgrade over the stock ones, go with Z4M that provide more caster.

E46 M3 bushings will not work.

I've z4m. About 15k on them. Highly recommend.

Stay away from meyle whatever you do. I have 15k on mine and they are already shot. Got a pair of z4m fcabs sitting in my garage waiting to be installed!

I can't offer advice on poly bushings, but I changed to Z4M FCABs a couple of months ago and love them.

No to Meyle yes to z4m. Just know the caster will be a tad out of spec.

Now that question is answered, moving to suspension so easier for other people to find this helpful info.

Can someone provide the Z4M FCAB part number?
Can the caster be adjusted with the alignment or by using the Z4M FCAB it will always be off?

31107836862 & 31107836863 for the bushings pre-pressed.

And the Z4M bushing housing also fits our cars?
Do you know about the alignment question?

Yeah order those and you'll be golden. As for the alignment, check out Vas' sketchi build thread. Looks like he just got his aligned today and he posted the specs.

Correct. I just got the wifes car aligned.

Caster is non-adjustable hover the car has 6.0 degrees of it and it is still in the allowed area.

Ok so, with the Z4M fcabs it is still within the range for the alignmet correct?

I think mine was slightly in the red on caster iirc. Love the feel though.
