Just got them in, and oh boy they look good, but there is some light rubbing in some situations, like a big bump in the street or coming down a parking lot with a higher then normal depression.

Tires on it are 255x35x18. Car is a '02 325i ZSP

Any suggestions on suspension, the installer suggested rolling, is that a good option?

The rubbing is NOT a deal breaker for me, but can be annoying.

Rolling is fine. Have him hook it up.

Or stretch the tires....assuming you don't wanna buy new ones though.

never heard of stretching the tires, will search. Why do you ask about buying new ones? You think lower tires?

"Stretching the tires" means to buy smaller width tires

What offset are your rears?

Yes, what offset in back and what size/offset/tire in front?

You can start by dialing in some camber. Depending how you drive your car, some addition camber may be necessary for even tire wear, and will certainly help grip.

Your car looks great.

Looks great! Im running the same size wheel and tire and i have the same rubbing issue. Every now and then it will rub... Even with the car fully loaded last weekend it only rubbed on certain bumps... Going to roll my fenders soon and that should solve it.... My offset is et40 id assume yours is somewhere between 38 and 45.

I know of a e46xi touring guy running 18x9.5 LTWs on all four corners. I'm not sure on the offset and tire size he's running.

Thanks!! I think so too, it complements the other mods with a more agressive look. Having the fenders rolled as I type.. Pics to come soon!

Did you ever figure out the offset?

Measured a little over 40 earlier today, but with the wheel on. Fenders are rolled now and rub is 90% gone, had to shave a bit of the bumper pin, could not get the rub to come back in regular driving, just in extreme depressions and a little bit getting to my driveway.

The shop that did the roll asked me to drive the car for a couple of days, they will re examine the car and adjust whatever is needed. They charged me $70 for all work, and did a nice job, no cracked paint or any blemishes. Did at ASAA in Houston. The owner there has a GS300 dropped and with oversized wheels too, he had coil-overs installed and with some adjustment he got rid of rubbing 100%. So that may be an option for me too.

But darn she looks gorgeous... Can't stop looking back when I leave the car...
