So I am attempting to INPA and NavCoder working a WinXP SP3 instance and could use some help. I have used two different; K-DCAN and KKL cables but game the same result. When I hook the cable up to the car, place the ignition in Position 2 and start INPA, INPA will highlight the Ignition and Battery indicators (assuming showing connectivity to the car), but when I read a module it does return any data. With NavCoder will recognize the cable, but when I attempt to read the module it throws an error that it did not respond, sample error message below. I set the cable for Latency timer from default 16 msec. to 1 msec,as indicated by the instructions for both cables I tried.

Any thoughts? I am pretty well stumped on what to try next.

I've never gotten Navcoder to work. Tried a few times.
