I currently have a factory stereo with navigation and intravee II setup. I am looking to replace it with something newer with more features. Has anyone tried the GA6150? If so do the steering wheel functions work? I have been poking around a lot of posts and see the need for an extension cable, is this to use the factory navigation, or do I have to use the one on the Eonon? Also how hard are these to hookup? And do people have any other recommendations? I am looking for something quick and simple that wont give me a ton of problems.

Once I decided on a unit I will be selling my intravee setup with an 80 gig Ipod - if interested shoot me a PM

Thanks
JD

There are already 2 threads about it.

You can read my experience from the 6th page.
I had problem with steering wheel controls.

Thanks for the reply - I saw your thread but it was for the older model... I read the other thread as well but didn't really see an answer. I saw something on the e46 forum that talks about an ibus adapter.

Title of the tread is for older model, but my experience is with the latest GA6150.

It's hit or miss with them, if it doesn't work out, just return it and you'll lose around $30 on shipping.

Install is pretty easy. I did it myself. I didn't have factory Navigation and didn't need any extra cables, it came with everything.

Here's the guide.

Would I be better off just buying a Dynavin N6 - they appear to have better reviews

Dynavin is 2x+ the price. Eonon is a much cheaper option, perhaps figuratively and literally, but still much cheaper. Just depends what you're looking for and how much you're willing to spend

Here is another thread I started. Again the title is the old version, but conversation quickly segues into the GA6150
