Ha....Willie Stargell. I still have this cats card...as well as Bill Madlock, Tim Foli, Dave Parker, Kent Tekulve, Phil Garner, Lee Lacy,and the even older Roberto Clemente. I may have sold the RC card. I think the best old card I have now is a 69 Ernie Banks. Always wanted a Mantle.

What about Omar Moreno? You'll recall that he was not that great (in terms of overall statistics). However, he had a career year in 1979, the same year that the Pirates came back from a 3-1 deficit against the Orioles in the World Series.
How's that for bringing us back on topic? The 1979 Pirates' theme song was "We are family," by Sister Sledge.

Not much to post here.............leaving beautiful Rochester, New York @ 0400 (4am). Picking up Hot dogs, Italian Sausage, and rolls later today. Car is semi packed ,(just need cooler and adult beverages!!). Mapquest says 9 hr 20 min............... yippeeeeeeeeeeeeee:party
