I am selling my 2005 S4 Avant. It has 74,150 miles on it and has been always maintained at Audi Minneapolis with regular services.
Everything is current and up to date on it including the V-Belt and Spark Plugs. It also just had new power steering lines added 4 months ago.

I am asking $SOLD

The car makes no chain noise and the clutch is great. It shifts well and has plenty of power.

A few aftermarket items have been added and listed below -AWE Track exhaust (very quiet surprisingly) -AWE Stainless pedals and dead pedal -Hartman 19" RS6 wheels -H&R Sport Springs -OEM Audi iPod integration

I also have the original 18" Avus wheels that came with the car with nearly new Michelin X-Ice i3's

This car is equipped with the Bose sound system, rear manual sunshades, Sirius XM radio and full leather. It is an extremely rare car and I am listing it for a fair price compared to what is out there and the miles on this car.

Please contact me if you would like to come by to see the car.

I do not want to trade for anything. I have a 2017 4Runner TRD Pro coming into a dealership so I am listing this ahead of time.

Thank you,
Chris

I work for a car dealership so exceptionally good deals fall into my lap. Like the S4 Avant, my last ZHP, my Raptor, my 08 R32, my 2015 S4 I bought brand new under the Audi Employee Program. Also those are cars I have had from when I was 16.

When I find the right ones like my E90 M3 I hold onto them but I am very very picky. I hope to find the perfect ZHP soon. My last one was close but this time I hope to not have to do any rust repair.

Man this is beautiful! What was the sale price? This would have been a hoot to daily instead of the Sportwagen, but I couldn't pass up a warranty on a new car.

Damn! I would've traded you my ZHP plus a chuck of change for that avant!

And that's saying something considered how i adore my ZHP. Loved that avant!

Not trying to sell per say but everything has a price including my rust free ZHP! ;o)

trust me, you are better off with the ZHP. you don't want to own an audi long-term... especially the early V8 S4s.

Agreed. The whole "engine out for timing chain tensioners and other wear bits" thing isn't really my bag.

It was a great car that I had always wanted to own!

To touch on the whole timing chains and Audi ownership coming from someone that works for the dealership. That is mostly BS really. Do they fail? Yes. Does it happen often? No. I have had clients with S4s that have 140k+ on the original chains and 0 noise at all on cold start or anything.

It all depends on previous maintenance and care. If the PO followed the Audi schedule at 10k/yearly services it will probably need chains between 90-110k but if they change the oil every 3-5k it will for sure outlast that period. Mine had absolutely 0 chain noise and was great. The new owner had been searching for that exact car for a while and didn't even try to negotiate or anything.
