For whatever reason, the original owner didn't go for the Xenon's.
I'm looking to upgrade to a HID setup with Angel eyes. I have read the 6 billions posts on this topic and I'm aware of several of the manufacturers. To be honest, I'm kinda overwhelmed with all the options. So here is my specific question(s)

If you were in my shoes right now, which way would you go?
I'm not looking to see into the future, I just want a clean HID package with the A/E feature. I want something that will last, and NOT start a fire in my engine bay b/c of over amping or whatever.I'm not overly concerned with "auto leveling". My budget is open.

Thanks in advance fellas....

I am in your boat. PO did not get xenons. He lived in Colorado. Maybe it made more sense to have halogen.

Anyhow, I have projectors.

Khoa is hooking me up with the HID kit and bulbs. I think you should go the same way.

I'll have him post in this thread and give us his suggestions.

Yup, its the P46. That is what I would get if I didn't have Xenon lights already.

I talked to Khoa. He said that Jim sells an HID kit for $25? Is that the same as the P46?

All p46 are the same. Depo headlights is depo. Just shop around and you will be good or else go oem. There are alot of places cheaper than ecs, look ebay and alternatives. When it comes to hid kits, no one in the biz is better than Ddm tuning, hands down the cheapest kits out. There is alot of slander where one kit is better than others but there are only a handful of real manufacturers and the rest are relabeled. Unless the supplier is bringing over a container, they are just buying from another middle man. I highly doubtany of these hid retailers have a direct connect in Asia unless they live there and more than half can't even tell the difference but a nice box.
