Up for sale is an ATR Hood that fits a facelifted sedan. This may fit other cars, but honestly i really don't know.
1. Fits my facelift 2004 ZHP sedan (This should fit pre-facelifts as well)
2. Great Black Paint job, gloss on top and flat black on the engine bay side
3. CF Top weave that is even visible through the Black paint
4. Comes with CF BMW badge
5. Comes with M3 style window washer area thing (not sure what it is called)
6. Passenger side just on the outside of the hinge needs to be fixed (see pics below)
7. $250 + shipping or trade for ???????
Couple of things. As stated above, there is an issue, not with fitment but with a crack. This can be fixed by a competent Fiberglass person. A piece of thin sheet metal will need to be affixed on the underside of the hood that runs from passenger side hinge down about 1/2 to 3/4 of the hood. This will need to be fiberglassed into the hood to reinforce the area where it "bulges". When I put pressure on the bulge area, it will move, but it obviously doesn't stay down. I have tried to fix this repeatedly through multiple realignments across the fenders, hood latch points and hinges and still can't get it to stay down.
The price is cheap because I have already spent WAY too much money on this and at this point I just want it gone and throw the stocker back on there.
So if you are interested, I am still trying to get multiple shipping quotes for around the country, so I will post those up soon. If you want, toss your zipcode in here and i'll look up shipping. But just be aware. Due to the size NOT the weight of this thing boxed up, it ain't gonna be cheap. The original box dimensions were about 4' x 5' x 18". The box dimensions are a ***** for shipping.
