I just had to share this with the class. These look awesome. The flow formed process seems to shed a couple of pounds and make the a little stronger. I remember some of the e90post people used to say that VMRs were made pretty cheaply. I'm dying to see what some of these new finishes look like on an e46. I've been torn with what would look best on oxford green, but the machined finish with gloss black accents might do the trick.

Not for me, but they're certainly not bad to look at.

I think they look pretty good. I have to say, I wasn't sure how they would look given the nearly 20year gap in design between the wheels and the e46 but so far that looks pretty on point.

Very similar to the M4 OEM wheels

That was my guess for VMR's inspiration.

I know I'm in the minority, but I've never really cared for the F8x ZCP wheels. The GTS version is, IMO, atrocious.

It's nice to see VMR taking up flow formed, but I don't think the 801s will fit the E46 body.

The GTS wheels are pretty ghastly, but that's mainly due to that ridiculous orange. The regular ZCP wheels really do grow on you. I didn't like that all at first, but after seeing them up close in person a few times, I've grown to love em!

It's definitely the color; it's unforgivable. The Style 666s have grown on me a little (I'll admit they look sharp in motion), but I'm still not there yet lol.

Yep they're pretty sharp in person. They had them on a blue M4 at Kpro's dealership

Definitely better than the ZCP wheels.

One does not simply join spokes at the end.

I hated the 666 wheels when I first saw them on the gts, mainly due to the orange/gold color. But the zcp wheels especially with the darker grey color grew on me and now if I were to buy an f80 I wouldn't want it any other way. My opinion kinda changed when I saw the wheels in person at the M track day event.

Hmm. I like the 666 better actually.

This. The 666's have lots of openings on them, where the 801's have closed sections that don't look 100% to me.

Too bad the 666's are 20". :(
