Hey all,
I tried to up in when I first purchased my zhp, but something must have went wrong, which is ok. I joined the Facebook group and got in contact with the right people and have now completed my membership.
I purchased my zhp from BMW of schererville with 120k miles. I had gotten into bmws by way of an e36 i had purchased for $500 and flipped! They told me the p.o. had driven from Ohio to purchase a newer vehicle they had. Seemed well taken care of. I immediately switched the water pump to a Stewart and have had to do minimal maintenance. Only major issue was the starter failing (which didnt matter being a 6speed). I have run 2 full seasons locally at autocross, and have thoroughly enjoyed the car.
I can't stress enough how great of a decision buying this car was. I'm excited to finally be a member after browsing the forums for awhile, and look forward to meeting some of the more active members. I used to be part of a smaller forum for my old car, a 2001 mercury cougar. I learned all I needed to know on that car, and now am a technician and do all my own work on my vehicles. And I must say, this Is a rewarding car to wrench on and drive.
