Hey all,

Has anyone ever experienced this? I've been trying to figure it out for a few weeks now..

I'm getting loads of hot air coming in from the steering column and it feels like it's coming from the engine bay. The problem goes away when the ac is turned on.

What could be causing this?

Any advice is highly appreciated!

So with the main fan off you get hot air coming in?

Yeah. Just took apart the panel underneath the steering column and found the source of the hot air. Pic is attached. I think I may need a new O ring seal but. Or is it supposed to be cut open like that?

Pushed the rubber piece in as much as I could and so far so good but will have to test it out on a hot day.

Anyone know what that rubber part is called?

Yeah I was gonna say, air coming through firewall. I would just put it back and glue the seam?

Could be a firewall steering grommet?
