I have upgraded to a faster, stronger server (http://www.bmwmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?131-Server-turned-up-a-notch). My BMWMafia.com site is on the same server as ZHPMafia.com, so we (here) will enjoy the benefit of a stronger, faster server.

Eventually that BMWMafia.com database will be huge. I simply want to stay ahead of the curve.

Glad to hear my clicks aren't in vain.

I've been quite religious about this when doing my shopping. I come back here and open a new window using the affiliate link just before checkout with the hope that will somehow ensure the Mafia gets credit for my dollars.

The key is to come through here first. I have bookmarked the affiliate page. I enter the shopping areas from here. Not sure your method will work, Bill. The cookie is all important.

My concern is that the cookie won't be there when I finally finish. A lot of time we're still researching what we want to buy and we're hopping into and out of windows at random.

I'll try going about it the way you suggested Marcus.

I believe the cookie lasts some time -- days. We use the links in our family too. Like you, we tend to bounce in and out. As long as we started the session through a browser -- jumping from ZHPMafia.com -- and end the session with the same browser, we have success.

Just got notified that our server speeds will be increasing within the next 30 days. I find the site to be fast already but even faster isn't a problem here.
