Yellow is the default color for the forum announcement. It goes away when you hit the X on the right side of the message. Haha.

I saw the announcement, but it didn't do that to my page... is that an effect of using IE and not firefox?

No. It was the effect of bolding the word "announcement." Didn't matter which browser you were using. It would do that yellow everywhere. Now that I have unbolded the word announcement, it's gone.

I think it is Bill. At work we use IE7, and I don't see it any more, it was just a line across the top in yellow. At home when I got on with my husbands laptop which uses firefox, the whole thing was yellow like BP's.

Actually, it should be yellow across the top -- but no where else.

When I did the bad coding, it was yellow all over the site.

The announcement at the top of the site will stay there until you hit the X button to the right side of the announcement.

So, in summary, the yellow bar should be there (unless you've read it and hit the X). However, the rest of the site should not be yellow (when the announcement is visible to you).

Hope that clears it up.

It was a couple days ago I was using firefox, so it could have been when the coding was not quite right when I caught the all yellow too. Sorry for the confusion Marcus.

All was fine within posting that comment, so I'm not sure why the machine you're using would still show up like that. Try clearing your temporary internet files and cookies and load the page again; it should be fine then.
