Side mirror replacements with ribbon cable?

Hi all,

I had my side mirror broken at the internal metal part at a car wash so it’s being held together with duct tape. I have just bought a replacement from a ZHP vert in a different color. I saw somewhere here that the ZHP’s all had ribbon connectors, but this one has two of them.

Did we have heated mirrors? I don’t see any button where it possibly indicates such.

Can I transfer the mirror cover over from mine to the new one?

Also, my mirror controls don’t work anymore, what could be the issue there?

Mine also has 2 ribbons. And they do have heating in them but that is controlled based on the outdoor temperature. They're should be a purple and white connector. I swapped the guts from one mirror into mine because the motor control weren't working and the mirrors were moving on their own.

The covers should swap over, but I don't know about convertible mirrors vs non.

So yours had two ribbon connectors too? Did you have a coupe too?

Yes 2 connectors a white and purple. My car is an 04 sedan
