I love mine. I am not sure what you are looking for but I got mine from Eurodyne and it is the Carbon8 brand.

All in all, I think CF hoods are fine. But they are aftermarket. So you have to take it with a grain of sand and realize that there may be (and most of the time there are) fitment issues. If you are willing to handle those fitment issues and get over that, then yes, you can rock a CF hood. Just, DO NOT USE THE HOOD STRUTS!!!!! There are number of vendors who sell CF hoods both on this board and on the web. Possibly the best hoods out there are Vorsteiner, but you are going to pay a serious MINT to get a Vorsteiner hood.

What year is your car again? 2003 I think you said in another post. Was 2003 a facelift or pre-facelift year? You have more options and availablility if you are a pre-facelift model year. Options meaning, with or without vents but with powerdome on both types.

Vorsteiner....though I think the aftermarkets from JLeviSW, DDMTuning, or ModBargains would be fine

All ZHPs are facelifted; M3s maintained the pre-facelift look.

On-topic, I think I'd love to rock a painted powerdome CF hood; the vents never did it for me. :dunno

I have one on my lude and it moves sooooooo much just driving the car. I think the hoods with the vents would help with that, but its still unsettling when it looks like its going to just fly up on the highway at any time. I've had my CF hood for 7 years and its only flown up once with minimal damage, and that was because it was only partially latched and I didn't realize it (long story). Aftermarket ones all fit differently, some are a lot worse than others. Personally, If shopping for a CF hood, I would stick with something brand name that has some R & D behind the name and a really good re-inforced striker/latch that way you don't have an "incident" on the highway. I know too many kids who have bought knock off CF hoods from various vendors and ebay, who have had them lift and bashed the windshield/roofline.

Or a CF hood like on eleanor the mustang in gone in 60 seconds, so looking around on the vorsteiner site the CF hood they sell is facelift version and if m3s are pre facelift but if you click coupe it doesnt show a hood only under sedan so does that mean all the hoods that people sell form them for the m3s are facelift there for wouldnt fit them sense they are pre facelift
