How does this sound compared to the stock ZHP exhaust?

Could not tell you. I have never heard the BMW Performance exhaust in person.

This is how it sounds on a 325 and 330:

I hear it drones a wee bit...

I finally got mine installed a couple of weeks ago. I can't say that it is appreciably louder, except maybe at WOT. No droning issues for me either, and I spend most of my driving time on the highway.

I've got it paired with the Performance intake, so the car does seem quicker off the line. Oh wait, that's just because my wallet is so much lighter...
