Selling my personal bike: 54cm 2011 Stevens (German brand, very high quality) Carbon Cross Team which has no more than 250 miles on it. Never entered any cyclo cross races. Just wanted a good looking bike I could ride across town without limitations. Super nice build, ultra stiff, lightweight @ 16lbs. Retail price on this impressive build is $5,750. I'm asking $3,250. Bike has not seen rain, rear tire has one ride and I'm throwing in one extra new rear tire. Front tire has about 150 miles on it. Please read on for the full list / specs. Email or call me. Serious inquiries only. THanks: TBest90662@aol.com 949.690.5191cell

Dang. That's a beautiful bike. I know next to nothing about these things, but I am definitely impressed by the pictures. :biggrin

For someone who knows, I imagine this is a steal. You've only put 250 miles on it!

Good luck with the sale, Terry.

Beautiful bike and components. If I was in the market for another bike I would take this off your hands.

Good luck with your sale!!

Marcus, thanks for the kind words. Money will be going to rent and new wheels for the car :)

Bullfrogs, appreciate your compliments as well. I noticed from some of your other posts that you are a cycling buff with great taste. Glad to know you might be my size though :) I think this makes a great training or poor weather bike. If there are trails in your area that can be connected by nice road routes - it's perfect for that. Or of course cyclo-cross racing if you're a masochist.

Someone should pick this up soon, if not I'd try another forum or craigslist I anything. Road bikes are more my thing but I've always wanted to swap out my components, good luck.

Thanks for the kind words. Not had too much luck selling bikes on Craigslist. Trying RoadBikeReview at the moment. We'll see. I get a lot of calls from people who tend to pick my brain and get ideas for their projects. Last resort is always EBay...with their ever rising fees. 8.9% final value fees unless you're a powerseller of some sort. Oh, and of course they own paypal which takes an additional 2.9% :)

Yea, the first time I saw knobby tires on a road bike I was like, What?!? Then I looked it up and watched a video and was like What the F, how are they not just eating it in the dirt?!?! haa I am definitely not used to seeing a road bike/frame do anything but asphalt. I wish we had more trails out here where I could take something like that on, but I am at the tail end of the rockies and we still have serious mountains. If I am even considering getting dirty and blasting down a nice rocky mess of a trail, then I grab my Reign X0. If I get up early enough in the morning (we are hitting close to 100 during the day now), then i'll grab my Felt AR5 and go put on some miles.

Needs moar lower.

haha nice. As a frequent enjoyer of road rash, distracted clueless drivers (YES we ARE allowed to ride on the side of the road MA'AM! It's the LAW!), road debris and other dangerous obstacles; I can honestly say lower would be even more hazardous to our health. I don't think I have ever been more invisible than when I ride my bike and if I would be even lower to the ground, i would be damn near non-existent.
