Well, these pictures aren't exactly of the ZHP. Although, they do pertain to my ZHP! I love the power dome hood, so I set out to measure and replicate the bulge perfectly. This is just a guestimate. Tomorrow I am measuring my friends bulge on his m3, and my shop is going to construct a steel bulge and weld it to a brand new steel hood, if it becomes a success I will let you all know as I will make facelift coupe and sedan power dome hoods, completely constructed out of steel and the price should be around 400 dollars all finished and primered. And of course 100% fitment!

OK, two things:

My E30 is LeMans Blue and the ZHP is Mystic Blue. The E30 was orginally Delphin Gray. The clear coat had completely failed, so I got the car repainted. <Sidenote> I have always loved the Leguna Seca Blue, but I just couldn't bring myself to put that on the E30. I'll have to wait until I buy an E46 M3 to go with that color. </sidenote> Those two colors are very close though, the Mystic Blue changes shade depending on the light. It looks very dark until the sunshine hits it.

There are a few spots by the cement columns that are bigger than others. All the spots in that garage aren't that big, but yes, they are bigger than the average parking spots you'll find elsewhere. I probably overdid it a bit by snuggling up to that column.

Thank you for the kind words. Like me, it looks better from a distance. It has a few scratches and swirls in the clear coat. Also, a couple of months ago some %#@hole put what looks like a key scratch on my driver's side front fender. I am getting ready to tackle that (hopefully this weekend). I plan to get it cleaned up soon. This is the first photo I took of her since the addition of the matte grills and body color reflectors.

A little late to this thread. Car looks really good. WRT zhpwives.com, love it! My wife really got sick of my Triumph, so I try to have some sort of balance so as to not drive her crazy with my ZHP and I think she is able to at least humor me. :-) She puts up with it pretty well, allows me to enjoy my thing, but to sum it up, she once told me, "really.... you sit around an talk about your car?" with a disbelief that still cracks me up today.

It has to be at least 1/16", and I basically got it on there with brand new fogs...so they will look new always. Even the clear (imho) is a smart, solid choice at protecting clear type lenses from road debris. I have not been exposed to this product...but now that I have seen the quality...I'm sold.

And.. yes I know, I'm missing a splitter. An Indiana ice storm had different plans for my front bumper, as it tore off my splitter while I was driving on the highway.. This is why a majority of my pictures are of the back, and side, due to the un-proportioned front end...

Thanks man! Honestly I use a mixture of different products. Zymol, Griot's Garage and Meguiars for the most part as well as my Porter Cable 7424XP. Zymol for wax, Griot's for wheel cleaner, undercarriage/wheel well spray,(used to use their wax, and other products, but it gets expensive and you have to wait for it). Meguiar's Gold Class for washing, (it works really really good, holds wax on the car, cleans yet preserves), Meguiar's Quick Detailer, Tire shine etc etc. I used to get more professional/commercial products, but I noticed that Meguiars works just as good if not better, is easier to buy and not as expensive.

Other than the road rash around the grilles (which I have repaired with Dr. Colorchip) the paint on the car really is immaculate for having 62k miles, not seeing snow is a big part of it though, as well as weekly, sometimes twice a week washes.

Ohhhh, also, my DSLR has a lot to do with how well the picture came out :p
