I'm a big fan of the regular Quik Detailer by Meguiar's (affiliate link) (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009IQX90/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=zhpcom-20&linkCode=as2&camp=217145&creative=399349&creativeASIN=B0009IQX90). However, yesterday my detailer said that I should get the Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer (affiliate link) (http://www.detailedimage.com/wax.php?id=13407&url=detailedimage.com/Meguiars-M43/Ultimate-Quik-Detailer-P386/22-oz-S1/).

I'm about to pull the trigger on the Ultimate. Can you guys vouch for this stuff?

Sorry Marcus, I'm not familiar with it. It seems they're coming out with a new, improved detailer almost monthly! I'll be interested to hear what others have to say about it. I use Meguiars Last Touch; buy it by the gallon and dilute it.

Yeah. Difficult to keep up with this stuff. I have read some reviews around the Internet on the Ultimate stuff. Everyone seems to love it. I am going to grab some. I will do a review.

Pretty sure it's the same thing in a different bottle...pure marketing technique imo.

You should be fine.

Thanks, Kyle, for bursting my bubble (making me think I am not getting something special). Hehe.

Would someone mind making a video, please? hehe.

I have some, the main difference I know of is you can use it in direct sun on a hot car.

John, that's a good thing. We have a lot of sun here and I have used this stuff in the sun more often than not.

Thanks for the incremental information.

That stuff is great, and it smells nice too.

I am only putting German stuff on my car...Einszett for me. ;)

I have Einszett bug and tar remover (http://www.detailedimage.com/wax.php?id=13407&url=detailedimage.com/Einszett-1Z-M46/Anti-Insekt-Bug-Tar-Remover-P469/500-ml-S1/). It's not harsh, so it takes a little more scrubbing than other brands. But I was concerned about making sure I didn't get anything that's too harsh on the front bumper cover. Hehe. Had to go with the Meguiars detailer, though. :biggrin

I use the ultimate detailer after every wash on my jeep. It is nice in between waxes cause it makes it nice and slick and beads like hell! http://www.flickr.com/photos/58559345@N05/5694732311/
