Hello everyone, how is everybody doing?

It's been a while since I posted on this site due to personal and career reasons. Now that things are back to normal, I can start sharing my ZHP thoughts once again.

On some of my last posts, I was looking to replace my ZHP coupe with a 6 spd sedan. Well, last August, I picked an '05 Silver/Gray with Alcantara interior, leather wrapped steering wheel, SOS, Blue tooth, and heated seats. The car was in really good condition except with some bent wheels that I got fixed prior of getting new 255/35-18 tires on all 4 corners.

Since my wife already had a S/G ZHP, having two cars looking the same called for some modifications.

First on the list was a BMW performance aluminum STB that I kept from my old ZHP. Then, I bought a BMW Performance CAI. After that, I took my car to NYC to get my windows tinted with Huper Optik ceramic film. I had this tint on my other ZHP and it was amazing to see how much heat and UV rays this film really blocks.

Next, when my birthday came along, my wife got me a set of clear euro lights from Turner Motors. This mod really made the car look cleaner, and best of all, we could tell our cars apart. Lol
Next on the agenda, I got the roof wrapped in black vinyl, once again to make it look a little different than her car.

Since the front spoiler had its share of scratches from the previous owner, I had the front bumper painted. While it was in the shop, I had the all the molding and rear valance color matched to the body color.

Now the car looks like I wanted it to look but I still have a few more mods under my sleeve. Coming soon….. a BMW Performance exhaust .

I’m glad to be back and I'm sorry I missed the 2012 Sig.

Regards,

WIl.

Hello everyone,
I'm new to the site but not to BMW, specially ZHP cars. I owned my 2006 ZHP coupe for 2 years before I had to sell it due to financial reasons.
I am located in central NJ and I consider myself a BMW gear head. I have owned 5 different 3 series BMWs, and the ZHP was the best BMW, and best car I have ever owned.
I'm currently driving an E30, but now that I have some cash to spare, I looking for my next BMW. I don't want an M3, everyone has one of those, and who wants to pay for premium insurance. I want a ZHP, but this time a sedan. The ZHP, in my opinion, is the best e46 BMW has ever built.

Cheers,

PS: I forgot to mention that there is a ZHP in the family; my wife's car, she has an '05 330i ZHP Auto, so I do get to drive a ZHP once in a while :)l

Wil, welcome to the site. Did you ever sell the 1976 2002 you were selling?

You will feel very welcome here.

Glad you joined.

Thanks for all your welcoming messages.

Marcus, yes, I still have my '76 02 for sale. I love that little car but I need the room/money for a ZHP.

Since I already have 2 coupes, the 4dr ZHP will be more practical; at least that's what I'm going to tell my wife. :)

Johnmadd - below is a pictures of my '91 318is I took while I was in Pittsburgh last week.

Nice E30! Will it be up for sale when you eventually find a ZHP?

Very nice. Bronzit?

Nah, I won't be selling it since it's worth more money to me than the current book value. Just to say, when I first got it 6 months ago, a BMWCCA member offered me $5,200 for it and I didn't take it. Since then, I have spent my spare cash getting new H&R sprigns, bilsten shocks, bushings, brakes, rotors, lower control arms, tie rods, cold air intake, Dinan chip, and the best mod, a MtechII steering wheel.
The car is sterlinsilber with gray cloth interior, M42 engine with LSD and only 84k original miles :)

New Response to Mike V's question:

If I could find a white, 6 speed ZHP like the one in the link below, I will defintely sell my 318is.

The paint on the 2002 is wet. The e30 has 002's?

Welcome back! You have a set of amazing car. Your ZHP looks great with all the body matched mouldings. Really individualized. The e30 is so clean. And there's not a bad thing I can say about the 2002 you had. Really love the two tone paint on her.

Nice looking cars and welcome back... As for your sedan, do you have the 255/35s on the stock size rims or did you get a square set of rims? Do you have any pictures of the way the cars sits with those tires?? Thanks in advance!

I have a square set of rims; all rears.

Thanks all for the welcoming messages.

I forgot to add that I sold the 2002 about 8 months ago and consentrated on getting the E30 up to date. This passed March, I got a full paint job and now I'm looking to sell it to get an E30 M3 (to be honest, I'm having second thoughts about selling it).

Also, I jsut bought a '98ti 5 spd with 50k miles to use as my DD. But for the right price, I will sell it too :) Here is a pics of it:

NP. I'm curious to see if 255/35-18 with the front 135 style wheel would rub.

JupiterBMW

That sounds awfully wide on an 8" rim... I had 8" rims on my last car, 245/40-18 on them and it was about as wide as I could go. The stock size was 225/40s...

For reference, can you post an angle shot (if you have one) of your car with the square setup? I'd like to see how it looks...

The pictures of my E46 on the first page of this post are with the square setup. If I get sometime this week, I'll take closer pics of the front wheels and post them.

Cheers,
