Well I grew up in Chesapeake. Went to college in Blacksburg (VT '08 BC). Graduated and lived in VB, recession hit and got a job in RVA. Been here since

Wow, what a week is was with a 5.8 scale earthquake and hurricane Irene! Glad to get power back on last night and my 2005 ZHP conv. was safely garaged, and that a large backyard tree fell away from our house too! How did others in VA make out?

We are very fortunate the temps are in the high 60's at night, very pleasant with the fans hooked to the generator, and a tv.

Hope the power comes back on soon though. My family only lost power for about 18 hours.

story of my everyday life. the highway was terrible before they repaved it all after there were so many storms. that was seriously like off-roading on the way to work.

i've had my windshield cracked twice since i've been to richmond and one time just chipped by rocks on 64 driving to/from work.

The fan and downtown is basically just off-roading in some spots.

Any of you virginia guys on VAdriven? If you are my name over there is Tito, i guess i'm OG these days (joined in 2003) and really only post in off topic and auto gallery. good forsale section too if looking for a honda or some cheap daily. it was once owned by a dude named Sung from NN. now it's owned by some company, it's mellowed out a lot over the years. i wouldn't go there for auto advice...at all...

for most bimmer advice i'd go to e46fantics, which has some pretty cool local members to the 757 and central areas.

How about you drive to my house and punch me in the face?

It wouldn't hurt as much. :shifty

haha, bad experiences? most have been pretty helpful. not compared to the information on this site. I know a handful of them personally and they're all nice.

idk if you want me punching you in the face :blink it might hurt more than e46fanatics ?:idea

side note: i actually found my car on e46fanatics and got a helluva deal.
