Hey all,
I gotta replace the P/S pump on my 2003 330i ZHP, and I know the LF-30 was on certain early models, but I would think ZHPs are all the same, and I'm buying one off of a used ZHP. Does it use a LF-20?

Thanks,
Nick

Plug your VIN# (last 7) into RealOEM and see what that says your car has.

I don't think it's needed.

I would just do the pump. If the resevoir has issues down the road, it's simple enough to replace.

Edit: Was just thinking- the only reason I can think of to replace the resevoir is because it has a filter built into it. Not sure about the recommended replacement interval, though.

Be advised that the reservoir also holds the filter.

I would get a new reservoir. It has the filter. I think it was 15 bucks at carparts.com (also a site sponsor) (http://gan.doubleclick.net/gan_click?lid=41000000024345295&pubid=21000000000332383) it is cheap, and it leaks, just like the OEM one! haha. seriously, they wanted $100+ for oem. Waste of money for a static part, especially one that leaks even when functioning properly.
